About role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join a children's residential home in Birmingham. You will provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, working as part of a close-knit team committed to improving outcomes for some of the most vulnerable young people in society.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred care and support in line with each young person's individual care plan
Support young people with daily living skills, education attendance, personal care, and recreational activities
Build consistent, trusted relationships with young people, acting as a positive role model
Maintain accurate daily records, logs, and incident reports
Implement behaviour management and de-escalation strategies in line with home policies
Liaise with social workers, education providers, and health professionals as required
Participate in a shift rota including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties
Requirements

Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)

About role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join a children's residential home in Birmingham. You will provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, working as part of a close-knit team committed to improving outcomes for some of the most vulnerable young people in society.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with statutory requirements and individual placement plans
Lead and supervise shifts, providing direction to support workers and agency staff
Act as a designated key worker, contributing to care plan reviews, LAC reviews, and multi-agency meetings
Mentor and support junior team members, modelling professional standards and best practice
Oversee accurate completion of records, risk assessments, and incident documentation during led shifts
Contribute to safeguarding processes and support the Designated Safeguarding Lead as appropriate
Participate in a full shift rota including sleep-in duties
Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential childcare setting
Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues
Solid understanding of safeguarding legislation and practice

About the role
We are recruiting for a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the operational leadership of a children’s residential home in Swindon. You will share responsibility for staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and the overall quality of care — deputising for the Registered Manager when required. This role suits an experienced senior practitioner ready to step into management or a Deputy already looking for their next opportunity
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home in line with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
Provide supervision, appraisals, and line management to support workers and senior staff
Oversee the development and review of care plans, risk assessments, and placement agreements
Lead on safeguarding referrals and manage concerns in line with statutory procedures
Monitor record-keeping standards and ensure Ofsted compliance across the team
Participate in the management rota and provide on-call cover as required
Support the preparation of Regulation 44 inspections and full Ofsted visits providers, and health professionals as required
Participate in a shift rota including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties
Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum); Level 5 in Leadership and Management preferred
Minimum 3 years' experience in residential childcare, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Sound knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and Ofsted frameworks
Demonstrable experience managing safeguarding concerns

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Registered Manager to take full statutory responsibility for a children's residential home in Manchester. As the named individual on the Ofsted registration, you will lead the service across all areas — culture, compliance, staffing, and outcomes — ensuring the highest standards of care for the young people in placement. This is a senior role for a proven leader with a strong regulatory track record.
Key Responsibilities
Hold full statutory responsibility for the home in line with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, associated Quality Standards, and the Children Act 1989
Provide strong, consistent leadership to the staff team, fostering a culture of professional excellence and high aspiration for young people
Oversee all safeguarding activity, ensuring the home operates as a safe and compliant environment at all times
Lead on staff recruitment, supervision, appraisal, and performance management
Manage all Ofsted regulatory relationships including Regulation 44 visits and full inspections
Develop and maintain the home's Statement of Purpose, policies, and quality assurance frameworks
Manage the home's budget in partnership with the Responsible Individual
Build effective relationships with placing authorities, commissioning teams, IROs, and multi-agency partners
Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (mandatory)
Minimum 5 years' experience in residential childcare, including at least 2 years in a management or deputy management role
Proven track record of achieving or maintaining a Good or Outstanding Ofsted judgement
In-depth knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and Working Together to Safeguard Children
